Sea Patrol The First series - Dvd Boxset.

Sea Patrol the Royal Australian Navy protect our coasts on a daily basis and do so much more but a lot of what the Navy actually do come to life in the Australian Drama sea patrol.

The first episode better known as Welcome Aboard (Pilot) they needed to use a gun barrel to provide a breathing tube for some one on a island throughout the first series that is more than once or twice referred to as Bright Island. Even on my level of GORE that scene was enough to make me turn off and never watch it again, but like the fan of australian drama I am I tuned in the following to watch the next episode called What Lies Beneath.

They’ve put together a wonderful crew on this tv show, including the ever so talented Lisa McCune (Blue Heelers - Maggie Doyle, Forensic Investigator) she is on Sea Patrol as the new XO but her and the CO has had something in the past the CO is betrayed by Ian Stenlake (Stingers - Oscar Stone)

SOCOM Special Forces - PlayStation 3 - EB Games Australia

SOCOM Special Forces - PlayStation 3 - EB Games Australia

Socom 4 Special Forces -

Most of the dedicated sony players have heard of socom from back in the day of the Sony PS2 with there debut on that system.

Now branching on to the next generation of Sony they are back in action the Special Forces have come out to save the world you’ve got 14 days and 14 missions. Saving the world is back in the hands of the next generation of Special Force more often referred to as Black ops or the unit for those who watched the show the unit.

Your HQ has been taken out you meet with another team of army who are known to you as Gold Team they start to fight with your commander, and say we’ll wait for back up, you say you mean back up that’s not showing up HQ was blown up and we saw it with our own eyes.

Weaponry is nice in this series, Snipers are optional for those missions that require the direct hits sadly their is not a lot of choice with snipers there is only two I prefer the second option. Your Covert working recon missions as well as other type of missions you country is counting on you, Australia is counting on you we’re at war and your fighting that war, your the special force the unsung heroes that on paper don’t exist, but in real life your mates think your pushing paper when your really in enemy lines generally without back up other than a small team of five, one of you dead abort the mission or go on you guys are hard core your the best Australia has to offer when it comes to the army.

Overall - 9/10

Conclusion: Weapons could do with some work especially in the snipers I’d like more than two options and maybe some silencers for some of the weapons, considering the burst gives a way your location, there is no pistols in this game either I’d have liked one or two most games would’ve had some side arms. The missions are detailed and are very long winded which is good it keeps the played involved in the game. The sounds actually sound more real than Medal of honor or even your COD’s which is good as a sound tech you tend to love and respect sound more, but it sounds like I’m in the core of the fighting and wells was right next to me. It’s one of my favorite all time shooters and is worth the $90 odd bucks. I was a tad disappointed that unlike the PSP versions of Socom, they didn’t have a playable demo on the Playstation Store Network.

PLEASE NOTE: People say the game play is better with the PS move and gun, I didn’t have the move or the gun so I’m not reviewing it on that but it was pretty awesome game play just on it’s own without the move and gun.

B Dog is a decoy and now the crooks get a sweet revenge, lesson is crime doesn’t pay.

Overall: 8/10

Conclusion: I thought it was time I reviewed Air Buddies with the release of Spooky Buddies the next installment in the buddy series of movie. This is the first in the buddies series of movies, with the latest being Spooky Buddies just released. man these buddies are funny and are trouble, I love the puppy that’s all about the bling. then you’ve got the dog that’s all about the food, These puppies can certainly find themselves in a big world of trouble. Mud Bud is certainly a great movie as well. This some cross country journey they’ve got them self on a cross country mission. well written well thought out, it’s a excellent movie and its fun for the whole family it’s a excellent kids movie. Buddies will return for another fun filled adventure. I felt the movie thought of dragged out for me but it was still a excellent movie.

NCIS - Nintendo 3DS - EB Games Australia

NCIS - Nintendo 3DS - EB Games Australia

Please note: This isn’t support/recommended and or endorsed by EB GAMES AUSTRALIA. It’s only provided as a link for some where you can purchase the game from. this is a independent review I paid for the game out of my own pocket. My review is only accurate for the NINTENDO 3DS VERSION OF THIS GAME. HOWEVER IT’S ALSO FOR SALE ON WII/PS3/360/PC & iPhone on the apple store.

NCIS 3D - Review.

Any one who wanted to be a probationary agent on Gibbs team? Now you can be a probationary agent. Tony’s sense of Humor hasn’t gone anywhere. In the TV show the coffee run is a vital part of the show, you first meet Very Special Agent Dinozzo, he sends you on the coffee run you muck up he’ll shame you, you get it right choose your own name for the other agents to call you. So work your way through 5 exclusive cases with Gibbs and his team. Now you’ve even got Tony correcting Ziva like they do in the show. The cases are good I’m working my way through the first case. Will Gibb’s rules make it in to the game?

OVERALL: 10/10

Conclusion: Using the Gyro to snap the perfect photos of a crime scene is fairly sweet if you ask me. You can even unlock Gibb’s rules as you play through the five cases! The graphics are awesome as they would be on the 3DS. You play some games that have been knocked off a tv show and they don’t capture the vital parts of the show, the NCIS game captures the vital parts of the TV, Gibb’s rules, Coffee, Abby and Ducky and the investigation. Welcome to the team Probationary agent may your stay be a pleasant one. The in game agents are just like the ones on the TV show life like. I am happy to say it’s a game worth every cent guys. It’s exceeded my expectations of the title. It’s all touch screen controls making the controls bloody awesome. Even ducky getting off track is added in to the game because this has been a close project with those who write the show it’s captured the show perfectly and betrayed in all it’s glory in the game. I believe that the game could have been a bigger hit, if they’ve promoted more but it’s a EB GAME EXCLUSIVE TITLE.

Ridge Racer 3D - Nintendo 3DS - EB Games Australia

Please note: This isn't supported recommended or endorsed by EB GAMES, this is only a independent review and EB games has been provided as a reference to where you may buy the actual game.

Ridge Racer - 3DS.

Overall: 6/10

Conclusion: I find this racing game in question way to repetitive, It feels like your doing the same race tracks and they are just getting a little hard each time, the soundtrack is boring and I played it with the volume down, in the day I’ve 10% completed the game which is about 3 hours. the controls are hard you can’t turn sharp corners without have your finger on the drift button, It’s a very awkward game to play and control but of course the picture is good due to the simple it’s a 3DS game, It’s certainly not making it to my top 5.

Amazon.com: Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - The Twelfth Year: Mariska Hargitay, Christopher Meloni: Movies & TV

Please note: Not supported or endorsed by AMAZON, this is a independent review, this is not released in AUSTRALIA, ONLY REGION 1 at the moment. SPOILERS CONTAINED IN REVIEW AS AT TIME OF PUBLICATION TEN ARE ONLY UP TO EPISODE 10.

Law & Order The 12TH SERIES.

Once again, the New York’s finest and toughest detectives that deal with some of the most horrific crimes are going through ADA’s like clock work, that’s right they still can’t find a ADA. They are involved with the FBI a few times this series. Cases such as child tariffing and more even a multi-national army contractor suspected of RAPING minors with half of everyone who’s somebody in New York City can Elliot, Benson, Munch and Fin nail this dude? In 24 episodes Law & Order SVU does it again!

Overall - 8.5/10

Conclusion: Special Victim Unit is losing it’s hype for me now. It seems they’ve done everything twice over, some of the story lines are doubling up especially the tv show based prev catcher thing. The crimes are okay but not FRESH, they aren’t keeping me interested which has to say a lot for me. I’ve always loved the Law & Order franchise but this is really letting me down it doesn’t keep me interested but the actors are awesome it’s well written. Series 13 isn’t going to keep the ratings high due to the fact we lose Stabler.

Alvin and the Chipmunks - Nintendo DS - Preowned - EB Games Australia

Please note: This game review is not recommended or support or endorsed by EB GAMES Australia or any parties affiliated with EB GAMES AUSTRALIA they are only supplied as a responsible reference site.

Alvin & The Chipmunks - Nintendo DS game.

The DS game is based the movie of the same name called Alvin & The Chipmunks. It features hit songs and is well set out.

Overall: 6.5/10.

Conclusion: Alvin and the chipmunks requires a lot of hand and eye co-ordination, it’s suited to a younger person around 6 - 10 years by the setting but it’s more suited to 13 - 16 years of age as you need the hand and eye co-ordination, even I struggled with the game on the easy mode and have I’m a advanced gamer with advanced skills in gaming this a great game but too hard for most gamers in the age that its been targeted at. The graphics are awesome and sound is good, sadly you can’t buy this game new any more so therefore you’ll need to find a second hand copy.
